The ceramic membranes are arranged in pressure casings vessels to form modules. Filtering surfaces are available in sizes ranging from 0.05 square centimeters for test purposes to more than 30 square meters per casing vessel for a large-scale application. Larger, custom-made units for special applications are produced onrequest. For applications in the food and pharmaceutical industries special casing vessel designs are available which meet the requirements of sanitary standards (e.g. US 3-A) such as optimum cleaning possibility and capability of being sterilized (CIP and SIP compliant). atech's range of products is completed by special plastic modules that have been developed especially for use with highly corrosive media.
