Made-to-order filtration

atech has the right filtration solution for all operators world-wide: We offer a broad selection of ceramic membranes that feature a wide range of different characteristics and have been designed for all kinds of requirements as well as vessels to accommodate the membranes.

Excellent material properties of the ceramic membranes

The ceramic membranes that we produce are mainly used where polymeric membranes reach their limits. Thanks to their excellent material properties, our ceramic membranes ensure constant process stability and impressively high pressure resistance. Moreover, they are resistant to concentrated caustic solutions and acids, offer a high flux and can be backpulsed. This means they require minimal pre-treatment and aftercare and can be very easily cleaned.

Helping to protect the environment

The durability of our products and the high plant availability achieved thanks to the reliable operation of our membranes contribute to environmental protection just as much as our customers’ processes. The properties of our membranes are highly conducive to environmental protection and sustainability. The plants in which atech ceramic membranes are installed run for decades without any membrane function issues.

Benefits compared to membranes from other manufacturers

Compared to ceramic membranes from other manufacturers, we stand out on account of our production without ceramic binders or other additives. We manufacture exclusively with high purity aluminium oxide which, thanks to its purity of > 99%, can be sintered at high temperatures of up to 1,800°C/3,272°F.
