Laundry waste water treatment

Treat and recycle the waste water. Reduction of fresh water consumption and amount of residues.

Ceramic membranes by atech are used to treat and recycle the waste water from laundries

In laundries for work clothes and similar textiles, ceramic membranes can be used to treat and recycle the waste water. The ultrafiltration unit can be used as a preliminary stage for reverse osmosis. Basically, the goals such as reduction of fresh water consumption, compliance with discharge regulations and minimization of the amount of residues are achieved.

Advantages of atech ceramic membranes in treatment of laundry wastewater

  • Reduce fresh water consumption for pre-rinsing or reverse osmosis
  • Minimization of the amount of residues
  • Compliance with waste water guidelines
  • High reliability under difficult operating conditions
  • Long service life, high sustainability
  • Energy and cost savings
  • Constant process stability
  • Low operating costs

Stable long-term operation and successful regeneration

The ceramic membrane is capable of treating Laundry waste water in a stable long term operation and the membrane was successfully regenerated.
Cleaning intervals were able to keep the FLUX value constant over a long period of time.
The ceramic membranes are chemical resistance – ready for use in a range between 0 – 14.
